Thank you for shopping with SydneyTCG. We value our customers and aim to provide quality products and excellent service. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.
This policy operates in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
1. Change of Mind Returns
Due to the nature of trading cards, collectibles, and sealed products, SydneyTCG does not generally offer refunds or returns for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect purchases
- Buyer’s remorse
- Opened products
- Pulled card results from sealed products
However, we may approve a return or store credit at our discretion if:
- The item is unopened and in original condition
- The return request is made within 7 days of delivery
- Proof of purchase is provided
Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to:
- A restocking fee
- Return postage costs paid by the customer
Shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
2. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:
- Damaged in transit
- Faulty
- Incorrect
- Significantly different from its description
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
Once assessed, we may offer:
- A replacement
- Store credit
- A refund
- An exchange
depending on the circumstances and product availability.
3. Trading Card Condition Disclaimer
Please note:
- Minor imperfections may exist on trading cards directly from manufacturers
- Card centering, print lines, factory scratches, or packaging imperfections are not considered defects unless severe
- We cannot guarantee grading outcomes or PSA/BGS/CGC results
Products sold as “Near Mint” generally follow standard trading card industry expectations and may still contain minor handling or manufacturing imperfections.
4. Sealed Products
For fairness and fraud prevention, we cannot accept returns on:
- Opened booster packs
- Opened boxes
- Opened tins
- Opened sleeves or accessories
- Mystery products
- Digital or redemption code products
unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
5. Pre-Orders
Pre-order products are subject to supplier allocation and release schedules.
Please note:
- Release dates may change without notice
- Delays from distributors or manufacturers are outside our control
- Pre-orders may be cancelled by us if allocations are reduced or unavailable
If a pre-order cannot be fulfilled, customers will receive:
- A full refund; or
- Store credit if agreed
Customer-requested cancellations of pre-orders may be subject to an administration fee.
6. Return Process

- Supporting photos if applicable
Do not send items back without first contacting us and receiving return instructions.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible.
Please allow:
- 3–10 business days for processing depending on your payment provider or bank
Shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the item was faulty or supplied incorrectly.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to remedies for products that:
- Have major failures
- Are not of acceptable quality
- Do not match descriptions
- Are not fit for intended purpose
